Solution

CryptoStor FC is deployed inline between the server and the disk array; it encrypts all data from the server. When the data is replicated across the MAN/WAN connection, the data is encrypted when transported and stored on the remote disk array. CryptoStor FC secures the encryption keys and supports automatic or manual migration of keys to the remote location. The remote server can access the data via the CryptoStor at the remote location. CryptoStor FC clustering supports sharing of policies and keys among appliances to support high availability access to data. Security administrators can configure policies to selectively encrypt volumes with unique keys to logically isolate data.
